Definitely good to know. It’s not bothering me much right now but if it does, I’ll be switching it to the INJ fuse. You’ve been a great help. Appreciate all the input.

This... If I remember right they even flash with the alarm. I tapped into mine, worked fine.

I have a general question about the Icon stage 4 install. I installed this about a month ago, but with the leaf spring upgrade, it took away from where original brake lines are mounted. Does anyone have any pictures of how they remounted the brake lines for the rear with the leaf spring upgrade?

I simply zip tied mine to the frame. Icons doesn’t give much direction in this sense. I called them and they said the bracket can be bent and formed to fit in the pre existing location. I tried that and wasn’t able to make it work. Zip ties was last resort. If you come up with something else please let me know.

Thanks! Zip ties was the way I was leaning, but if can rig up something better than I will let you know.

Do you know which wire is the side marker power light? And what if I wanted to have the grille lights be powered by all of the headlight switch options and then have them off when the headlight switch is off?

Just use a power tester to see which is power. Source it right from the side marker light. The grill light will function exactly as the wire you piggyback it to

My 19 tacoma runs test for 24 hours then goes into sleep mode and doesn't run test anymore. You can see on the stock GPS app(sky force). Tells you everything about your truck.

I tried this with a direct ground to the battery and nothing happened when I turn the lights on, any suggestions? If I tap the positive on the battery they work fine but tapping purple on running lights does nothing for me.

If the parking lights are on and the raptors lights are not then you have a bad connection on the purple wire.

I found the issue, my quick splice connector wasn’t biting down into the copper. The wire that comes with the grill lights was to small so I just stripped and folded 3-4 times to get a good connection. Thanks for the help!

Any idea if this method will work on a 2013? Right now I’m using the add a fuse method. Currently I have the add a fuse connected using the headlights fuse. So the raptor/grill lights only stay on if the headlights are on.
Ideally the grill lights would be on any time the truck is on.

I know this is a old thread, but I do not see a purple and white wire on the drivers side, but I do see a purple and red on the passengers side, would that be the same? Thanks!
I have the new Diode Dynamics fog lights and they come with a back lighting, which needs to be tapped into either side marker lights or parking lights!!
