Mine are foggy and have some melting/burning from the orange lights. Anybody have recommendations on where to order from? And anyone else have experience with said burning/melting I’m talking about? Is it preventable or just a engineering flaw that I have to deal with. 2009 model fyi. I know I could put this in the lighting section but like you guys in the Texas forum more

I think that melting issue was only for a couple year models and there may have been a TSB for it awhile back.. I had that issue on my 2010. I ordered new lights from the online side of my local dealership. In store is expensive, online was more reasonable. I don't recall what I paid.

Had mine (2006) replaced a few years ago under the TSB, don’t recall the years it applied to. Worth looking into…

I have a 2007 front headlights that I am replacing with aftermarket retrofits OEMs. Pretty expensive, but recommended. Did you want to purchase my old set? You will probably need to get them buffed out but there's no wear like fogging or melting or such. I bought the truck in 2007 in Oregon, so I've been thru snow, hell and back and they're a ok. I am located in Lorena, TX.

@Narutaki I’m definitely interested. When you have a chance could you put a picture of them on here or PM it to me. Also, how much you asking?

One is already off, I still have to do the opposite side, will take pictures, I dont know how much I'm asking yet, but its probably on par with what people here are selling them used for I am guessing. That way I can finally purchase a replacement tailgate handle lock. My 2nd gen doesnt lock, though I have a RETRAX locking tonneau lol.

Buying aftermarket stuff for a tacoma is like a neverending upgrading game.
