Snug Top Door Rubbing Off Paint

    2002 Prerunner/2022 Tacoma
    I have a 2002 Prerunner with a Snug Top Super Sport that was rubbing on the tailgate paint so I bought a plastic cover that was made for it that attaches over the tailgate and has been protecting it for years. My problem is I'm now buying a 2022 TRD Offroad and I ordered the same shell for it but I'm trying to figure out what I should use to protect it's tailgate.
