It’s seems certain that quite a few members on here disapprove of the sale of your taco. It’s rather hilarious

Did the auto lock tailgate today. Probably the best mod yet. No more pulling out the pequeno key outta the fob when somebody tries to lower my tailgate. Parts from Toyota. Plug n play. Fab actuator into tailgate then run wire from front passenger foot area out the cab and along t he frame rail to the tailgate.

Eh, to be expected. I'm sure I'd be back in one eventually unless somebody decided to build something the size of the Maverick with a stick shift.

Check into that and let us know. Maybe some LEO on here can chime in as well?

As you're not required to have side signals (blinkers), only front & rear one. Even then, they may not be required to work - simply because hand signals will suffice.
Being safe trumps what is required, so extra signals, extra reflectors, etc. is a good thing.
Some states that had annual "safety inspections", did require that any original equipment which came with vehicle be in working order.

My first thought was about killing a piece of safety equipment without adding back equal or better equipment, then I thought about adding an extra retro reflector on the sides to make up for the loss... Then I had an idea: wrap the entire truck in black retro-reflective vinyl wrap. Unfortunately the only stuff I found can only be had in 24in strips. Boooo.

What mounts are you using for your boards? I need to pick up something similar to your setup.

Just pulled the dash apart to install the meso vent rings and the taco garage DMM. Gonna be glad to have full use of my center vents again.

It’s lined and has a ton of options and add ons which quickly add up. I’ve had it for a day now and love it.

cleaned all the nasty crap off my bed/bed mat, hosed off the wheel wells and back axle and bed mats (lots of salt on roads here), cleaned windows.

i do trash pickup part time in the evenings so my truck was smelling baaad. usually rinse it off once a week at least but haven't in a couple months due to freezing temps
