    OK Pinger.
Because you asked… and because nobody else in this here thread seems to care about my well-being, I'll let you, and only you, in on what I did on my hiatus.

I cut back one of my apple trees as it is super messy, was growing out of control, and my neighbor wasn't home. :D He's a good guy, he just knows too much stuff. Unfortunately, I was sooo busy and working sooo hard, I forgot to take pictures. :(

I also performed preventative maintenance on the Taco. It was due so I dug in and gave it some lovin'!

Oil and filter change! It's a wonder that I didn't die. What, with the filter change on a 3rd gen being so extremely difficult (look it up on TW. It's true… ). I also pulled the wheels and skids to have a thorough look.

The skids come off every 10K miles so I can inspect stuff that needs inspecting. The transmission skid was a bit out of spec so I put it in a press and straightened it out in a jiffy! Easy peasy.

I also got in a bit of detecting for coins. I was fortunate enough to dig up a few older coins! :woot:

    Coins.HEIC.jpg

Upper Left: Chinese coin, which I don't know much about…
Upper Right: 1897 "S" Barber Quarter.
    Lower Right: 1904 V Nickel.
    Lower Left: 1902 V Nickel.
    Center: 1887 Indian Head Cent.

The Barber Quarter was a surface find and had been exposed to the elements. It is in very rough shape, which is a shame as it is a relatively rare coin. In lower grades it is worth hundreds of dollars. But in this condition it ain't worth much… :(

And for the coup de grace, I scheduled/reserved airfare and motels for a visit to Southern Florida's national parks. March 1 I will head to the airport and get in a little R & R! :woot:
