My father-in-law (who lives only a couple miles from me) regularly drives his Dodge Cummins pickup to Nevada to fill his 100 gallon diesel tank in the bed of his truck (and the main 35 gallon tank), as diesel is about $1.30+ cheaper in NV than here in People's Paradise. My in-laws tow a Denali 5th wheel around a few times a year, hence the extra fuel tank in the bed of his truck. They go over the mountains to NV, visit their favorite casino/resort, have a good meal, fuel up, maybe spend a night, and come on home. Diesel here in Placerville is just shy of $5/gal for the last year+.

Regular is around $3.45/gallon here.

But I don't really care, it's not like we can suddenly stop buying it.

I have fuel stations at two of my yards for diesel and 89 octane, so some days I just fuel up at one of them.

We don't pay quite as much for our bulk deliveries to my yards (we get a few thousand gallons every third day [diesel] for our rigs and top off the 2000 gallons every month for the 89 pump) but it isn't much less.

Ours just went up 10c/L. When gas used to go up like that I’d check to see who we’re bombin’. Now it’s open season, anythin’ goes. Nothin to do with supply & demand. If it goes up in Norway it goes up here the next day.

Gas is $3.29⁹ a gallon. It was hanging out about $3.05⁹ for the longest time, but the winter gas drove the price up.

 

I think it's the one with the work boots in front of it, the other guys are actually doing something.
