What is this? Connector behind driver’s side taillight

Wiring up a third brake light for my camper. Was wondering if anyone knew what this connector with pink and white wires was. Thanks!

On my 21 OR, it is pre-wired to my cargo light switch. I just had to plug in the bed lights. For those without the cargo light switch, other parts are required in the cab. Someone else will need to speak to that.

 

You can buy led lights plug and play off eBay for under $20

 

Just installed those... $18 shipped if I recall. Nice and bright.

OP has an access cab so he will need the dash switch and possibly a fuse box relay. With those two items he will have switched power to those tail light area plugs and can go aftermarket or oem bed lights.

Toyota lists the kit as 2020 and up, just something I noticed. Someone might know better.

The bed light kit for 2020+ is the lights plus a small harness that goes from the plug you found to the lights that clip into the bedsides. You can purchase the small harness individually (can't find the part number right now but I've got a spare in the garage if anyone is really curious) and I cut and spliced into it to power the canopy lights, 100% reversible.
