I just asked for more detailed photos of the material. If you don't want to help me, don't. Absolutely no need to reply otherwise.

I've been back and forth with Clazzio for almost a year and they have sent the wrong product twice and aren't communicating anymore.

I'm trying to find out what the material is because it's not even close to the napa leather covers I bought a year ago. That's all.

The material that is dimpled is the replacement they've sent twice. They said it was napa leather... It is hard, doesn't break in at all and is a different texture. I sent them photos of everything. After many months they sent me another cover and it's same as the one before. I've emailed them and haven't heard anything.

They say these have a 3 year warranty... The original problem was the drive bottom. It had a sewing defect that made the center part crease. Like sitting on a power cord. They had me ship it back (March 2021) and I went without any seat cover until August. They sent me the original cover back and a replacement that wasn't the same at all.

It's February and I just got the second replacement last weekend.

    Dissapointing.

Send them everything, all of it. Ask that they ship you back matching items.

I don't just want matching items. The replacement cover is inferior to the original product I got. If I wanted cheap fake leather I'd of bought their cheaper options.

I bought my Tacoma brand new in February of 2021. 4 door short bed Trd Offroad. I didn't want Toyota's tech package w/ leather because it was $5-6k more and I have friends with it and the seats wore out after 50k miles. I liked clazzio covers and others do to. The set I got and have is fantastic. I got the heated stuff as well. It's awesome. One tiny sewing mistake on the driver bottom.... Son of a..

I have the dark gray clazzios and the way it looks is very light dependent. Height of the day / full sun it appears lighter in color. Late afternoon / cloudy days it appears darker like the sample. I personally wish it was a darker dark gray but it is what it is. For the record, I’m quite happy with how mine look on my MGM Tacoma.

Very nice! I'm assuming cardinal red isn't their listed "red"? I reached out to them and they offered to send samples. Depending on how the burgundy looks, I'm leaning towards that. I also have the red panel accents and like the idea of the subtle contrast (hopefully) between the oem red and clazzio burgundy.

Sorry! I wasn’t paying attention to the thread’s title. My seats are Katzkin….not Clazzio. Cardinal Red is the proper color name but, in Katzkin terminology.

If I can mention, I have clazzio’s I installed and posted pics previously in this thread. However they are the perforated PVC version. They’ve been on for a year or so now, with daily normal use. They look as new as the day they were put on. 99% of folks think its the upholstery. Great product!

It looks like the second pic is the perf PVC. The first is leather.
I have the PVC, the surface “grain” is the telltale. But take that with a grain of salt. Just my semiuneducated guesstimation.

    A few questions:

Anyone have dark brown or light brown to show the two shade differences?

What is the big difference between the luxury grade nappa covers and the leather with vinyl body? Not a fan of fake leather/PVC/vinyl.

Any decent discount codes other than 10%? Student/teacher/healthcare/TWorld?

Can the heaters go directly in between factory cloth and these covers? How are you securing the heating element sheet?

So here is my take on it. Im a quality conscious guy. I knew from my last truck i was going to cover the seats at the beginning rather than wait until they were damaged. My OR has cloth seats. I had absolutely no intention of using any floppy, saggy cover that fit like hand me downs from a bigger truck.
But, they are covers intended to take all the abuse, protect your original upholstery, and look good doing it. I had actually called and spoke to one of their sales folks on the phone and he actually recommended I go with the Perforated PVC. I was very hesitant, but he said this was a newer version and he was very impressed by it. For the price difference and other reviews, I gave them a try. After a loooong wait, they finally arrived (I custom ordered color and stitch). I am nothing less than completely satisfied after a year and a half of daily use. They are a touch stiff on cold mornings, but they supple up quickly with about 30 seconds of being seated. They are heavy duty, well stitched, exact match to the contours, and will safely shed anything that gets on them. And they clean up with a damp cloth or maybe a touch of fantastik if warranted. Just enough padding to augment the taco’s shi**y seat ergos. Haha
I’ll sum it up like this. Why spend the additional money for the leather that you’re going to be worried about damaging or maintaining. It is a cover. The don’t let the “cheap ass PVC” stigma be a concern with these. . Unless you’re a real leather connoisseur, or hang out with the like. Or have them side by side(…ahem) You may not even be able to tell the difference. Im nobody just my experience and 2cents

I like my Tacoma clazzio PVC more than my Tundra leather Katzkin

I've had mine for six years @ 72K miles. The drivers lower part has a lot of wear and a couple cracks. That said, I've never put anything on them or cleaned them. A few months ago, I got a new replacement for that piece but haven't put it on. All in all, for the money, they can't be beat IMO.

I was going to get the full nappa leather but after speaking with the rep at Clazzio, he talked me into the leather with vinyl body, I think that says a lot. I am more than pleased with them, I would never have known they weren't all leather, very high quality! The heaters attach right to the inside of the covers with adhesive strips
