    Any Idea what causes this?
I also have what feels like a couple inches of freeplay on the way down before the clutch engages.

Your video is private but my educated assumption is your release bearing is making partial contact and the bearing is worn out.

Pretty typical, prepare for a clutch job and consider the URD quill repair sleeve.

There are some YouTube’s and Google-able tests that might get you narrowed in on what’s going on. Anything from tranny input shaft bearing, to pilot bearing, or throw out bearing. See if you can make your video public and you’ll start getting some good answers!

That sucks but I appreciate your quick response.
Second day I got it back in 2018 I had the clutch fail and had it done.
I know they just resurfaced the plate when doing so (about 40k miles ago.
What setup would you recommend I purchase for my mine?
I'm talking about me walking into my mechanic with a box of parts, seals, lubricants.
All they have to do is install it.

    Thanks brother.
Truck is 2wd if that narrows anything down.
I also just had brake fluid flushed to Motul dot 5.1 and all new braided stainless hoses on each corner.
Don't remember this squeal being noticeable before I had that done friday.

Suppose it depends on what you really want to do with it, I mean it's hard to beat oem but it is a little bit more expensive, I've got a urd stage 2 in my truck I'm reasonably satisfied with it though it seems to be a little stiff.

On your truck, do the clutch and brake rely on the same reservoir? Could be the new fluid is hard on the internals of the hydraulic assembly for the clutch.

I had to remove the shifter and pour a completely different type of fluid(Ultra1Plus 75w-90 GL-5) in when doing the Transfulid, than what I put in the brakes (Motul 5.1)the other day.

What does the fluid level look like in your brake reservoir? Is the pedal spungee? Could be air in the lines.
You don't have to remove your shifter for a manual xmission fill... there is a fill plug above the drain plug.
Check out a slave-cylinder rebuild kit. Helped with my clutch engagement and the noise of the TOB.
