3rd Tacoma 4x4 I’ve had, and couldn’t wait to get rid of the ugly stock wheels and tires. Been reading about the Tacoma on this forum for almost a year, and finally picked up my SR5 in January. This forum has been a huge help in making my decision

Thanks. New to the forum thing, but trying to figure it all out. There are some really nice looking trucks on here, and I’ve spent many hours reading up about the different lift brands and pro’s and cons. Future mods I’m interested in are the eibach pro stage 2 lift, ov tune, and eventually 285 70 17 tires. I added the bed mat and tonneau, bed extender, and wheels and tires. Not a bad start in 4 months.

True, I have just been dreaming of buying a new lifted Tacoma with aftermarket wheels and tires. Couldn’t find what I liked, so I had to start with a stock truck and add the things I liked. Looking to get a tune asap. Going to look up BortisYeltzen. See if I can get it done

Thanks for the warm welcome. Hate to be a bit, but one more person saying take the steps off, doesn’t know me, or wtf I bought a truck for. We’re all not 6 foot 4. I’ll delete the membership. You don’t like steps, fine. Don’t judge others

Long overdue for an update, but almost deleted the account. I’m waiting to save the money for the factory running boards to replace the 50.00 used steps I put on to get in the truck without smashing the seat foam out. Currently on the 265/70-17 toyo at3’s with the trd lift and a ceramic coating done this year wheels are 17x9 rpt1 with 0 offset. Supposed to be made to fit Tacoma and hub cetric. No vibration at any speed. Up to 90 mph tested

Over one year now of owning this one and hasn’t been off road or pulling any trailers. Have been on one dirt road. Hence the SR5, and the puny trd 2inch lift. Title of grandpa SR5 isn’t a joke

Yes , the toyo’s are really good. Had them in rain and a few inches of snow a couple times.
