Hey All, I searched the forum and couldn't find much related to an issue I'm seeing. I will try to keep this brief but with enough detail.

Two days ago (Saturday) I got in my truck to go somewhere and my check engine light was on. I grabbed my OBD dongle and plugged it in, and pulled a code P0562, which is defined in the Torque app as "System Voltage Low".

Truck seems to drive fine, and the only indications of an issue are the CEL on the dash, and my cruise control doesn't work.

A few important pieces of context that may help with diagnosis:

    1. 2018 TRD Off-Road, Double Cab Short Bed, 3.5L, 4X4, around 26,500 miles.
    2. The day before I got this CEL, I got my tires rotated and got the truck washed. I can't imagine the tire rotation has anything to do with this, everything was normal with it except they did not check and set all my tire pressures the same. One or two tires were pretty low for some reason, so I refilled them when I got home.
    3. After leaving the carwash, it was about 95 degrees out, however the truck read low 70's and stayed that way for at least half an hour, until I got home. Outside temp seemed to read correctly the next day.
    4. In the days leading up to the issue, I did install LED reverse lights from Amazon, and some LED ditch light pods. I did initially have the ditch light wiring incorrect and it popped the inline fuse, but I consulted with a buddy of mine who is a mechanic, switched up the wiring, and now the lights work perfectly.
    5. In an attempt to diagnose the issue, I swapped back in the OEM reverse light bulbs and disconnected the ditch light pods from the battery. Took the truck for a drive, cleared the code/CEL, and the light just pops back on after three seconds. I reconnected the ditch lights, but left the OEM reverse light bulbs in for now.
    6. I checked voltage while idling and driving. I seem to be sitting right around 13.5-13.8 volts at all times.
    7. I've driven the truck a few times, including roughly 20-30 miles yesterday. The truck continues to run fine, no major issues, so I feel the battery and alternator are likely fine.
    8. Only issue I continue to have is no cruise control. I press the button on the arm coming out of the steering column which turns on the cruise control radar, but nothing happens.
    9. I checked a bunch of fuses related to cruise control, the PCM, and several others, none had popped.
Anyway, I'm at a little bit of a loss as to what to check next. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with the dealership, but the soonest appointment I could get is still over two weeks out, so I am hoping to see if I can learn more about the issue or root cause before then.

If you have any thoughts, please let me know. According to this page, there are some things I can check related to wiring and connectors, but I'm open to any other ideas.

What was the final outcome? My truck began doing that last weekend and my symptoms are exact. Please share.
