Man, that sucks that the saga continues. Hopefully it's sorted soon.

Definitely..my approach to any issue is that we will solve it together and being polite, professional, etc. I have had that work well and have still been given poor service, if not outright cheated.

I've seen both, though they were government owned so I have to think the govt had a little more wiggle room on ordering stuff perhaps

Maybe but there isn't a single actual documented one from what I can tell. Mostly people with a TPI 305 thinking it was a 350. But don't wanna clog this up anymore with third gen camaro talk...

"The 350 was only available in the IROC-Z and only with an automatic transmission. The TPI 350 motor was not visually distinguishable from the TPI 305."

Did the remote start work before you dropped it off? Also.... you literally can check the remote start in the parking lot when you pick it up. it shouldnt be a surprise

it doesn't surprise me that it was all paid for within the dealer. cuz if it's reported, their business insurance goes up also just like ours.

If it was done without issues present and looks decent, all you want is your truck back. Just go back there when you're ready for a new one and they try to lowball you on the trade, lol.

As far as the remote start, if it was working before hand and it was factory........then it should've been replaced. But , at least you asked for something. you didn't get your gas tank filled as promised, but you got a parts credit. Which if you didn't ask you would'nt have gotten.

So all in all, there could've been more done . But you are in a position now that things can move forward in life.

Depends..just scope out the shop they want to use. My local Toyota dealer doesn't have a body shop, they farm it out. My brother in law works at the place they use (actually brokered the deal between the two shops) so in that case I'd use him regardless.

True..as I mentioned my example was a government vehicle so that might be it

What aftermarket remote start are you using? Jimmy from N2DesignsInc is active on here and he may be able to give you some input on what is causing your remote start to throw codes. Even a search on TW might be able to help you find what's causing the issue.

This is a disaster of a situation. Hats off to you you’re my patient and calm than I would be.
