2022 Tacoma TRD Sport

What's up Tacoma World?! I've admittedly been lurking on this site for way too long and finally got antsy enough to make a post.

I'm currently building an Overland camping rig using parts and companies I've grown to love over the years. I've gone through a number of Jeeps and kept them relatively stock but have always dreamed of getting a Taco and modding it to be my dream truck. The opportunity finally arose and I'm jumping in head first. I have a lot of parts with insane lead times on order, but couldn't wait to get to work so I started with some of the basics (chrome delete, bed stiffeners, grille, etc).

Next biggest mod is suspension, I had a unique opportunity to work with Trail Tacoma; (highly recommend checking out their site for quality install and product review content) they are hooking me up with Ironman 4X4s new Foam Cell Pro 3" HD full lift kit with billet aluminum UCA's. Install and CMC coming in a few weeks.

Post suspension will be tires and wheels, I currently have Relations Race Wheels new RR7 Hybrid Bead Locks in satin black (17"). They look amazing, they're relatively light and the functionality of having the hybrid lock or running it standard with rash guards is an awesome benefit for someone like me who daily drives my rig.

Lastly, I'll be working on sourcing some sliders (currently eyeing the CBI bolt ons and RRWs plate sliders) and figuring out my front bumper situation. I have my heart set on the SSO slimline full plate, but can't figure out which light bar cutout works best for the Heretic 30" light bar. Next year, and after some serious savings, my goal is to get 5.29 gears and ARB lockers in the front and rear.

I have some exciting plans for the future and am really looking forward to pinging ideas off the community and sharing the creative fixes we come up with.
