    Hello TW!

I had been looking for a 3rd Gen Inferno for months and finally located my dream Taco down in H-Town a couple of weeks ago (I'm in North Texas). It's a 2018 TRD Off Road 4x4 with a manual and came with the factory cover. The plan is to modify it for work and play as I need to haul lumber and sheet goods as well as take the family out for some off road adventures. I just installed an UpTop Overland Alpha roof rack yesterday (the guys at UpTop were amazing helping me out), which has the matching paint on the grooveTek rails.

    Upcoming mods include:
    • UpTop Truss and eX Alpha cap (can't wait to use it to haul plywood and 16' trim boards)
    • 2.5-3" Lift
    • Wheels and Tires

Congratulations on your find. Took me almost a month to find mine last October, and I almost lost it.

Thank you. It was hard to find these trucks locally on the market, and after losing out to two trucks late last year and another last month I had decided to give up my search—deciding to pick it back up in the Spring. Of course that same day this one fell right in my lap… and my driveway :)

Awesome!! Good for you! You did very well to find what you wanted. The Houston market, like most places, doesn’t have a lot of Tacomas available.

    Thanks!

It does seem like Texas Taco owners hold onto their trucks until death, and after having this truck for less than a month I can understand why.

I just ordered the matching UpTop Truss bed rack and eX Alpha cap. Looking forward To getting this truck on some trails this summer, and picking up some 16’ T&G board for our kitchen ceiling remodel next month.

Thank you Matt! BTW I'm interested in your under hood LEDs, would you mind if I shoot you a question about them via PM?
