Thats about what I saw with my OME lift with 887s. I got about 2.5-2.75 in the front and about 2.75 in the rear. I have full steel skids and sliders and a topper so I have some weight. I upgraded to the HD leaf pack when I got my RTT so now when I'm unloaded its at about 3 in the rear but with my full camping set up its a lot lower.

 

I finally got all the parts together to install the Hyperdrive / yesterday

 

Interior going back in today .Paint done

Might be able to reduce it to 5/8"
It did give me room for more up travel.

 

Forgot to mention before the new suspension and cat plate install i did some cleaning / fluid film. The truck has zero rust and this was the first time i've applied rust protection to it.

 

Found this post while looking at info about deleting my sway bar, but if you don’t there’s sway bar drop kits that are required for aftermarket coils to clear the sway bar. Multiple companies make them, I have one from torch offroad. $50 and easy to install.

 

how long has it been installed? any difference/improvemnet? thats eht I want sound and heat protection in one.

 

I haven't had a sway bar on my truck for 10 years.

I've done a few emergency maneuvers at freeway speeds and ive been ok. Never did the truck, "feel" like it was going to roll over.

Now the warning is my truck has a full leaf pack and coil over suspension upgrades so the suspension is stiffer than normal.

 

One day ,haven’t got the truck back yet .

 

Found/made myself a parking spot.

Hey thank you for the input I install them on the other day while I was at work and it took about 10 minutes and separated the swaybar from the coil springs a good couple inches it’s so much nicer now without that stupid sound

how much did you end up cutting off? did you weld a plate back or is that just bondo?

After 5 years the logo on my wet okoles is toast. Has anyone put a new one on? Want to get it looking new again
