Do you have stock road tires or knobbier AT/MT tires?

My ATs are giving me paranoia I've got a failing wheel bearing, but I have to keep telling myself it's just road noise (hopefully...)

Sounds like a tires/wheel balancing issue.

I did get new tires the stock ones were junk in Winter weather, That's what I thought It was I bought a highway tire with just a slightly more aggressive tread than what was on it I do not do any off roading. I have had the tires road force balance 3 times the last time was at a Toyota dealership . The truck has always had a slight vibration at 50 miles an hour since the day I bought it and have had it in several times about that issue and still Being told the same thing seems like vibration is at different speeds now. The truck has 28000 miles on it

Getting to wonder if trd is short for turd. Seems nearly all the vibration, and howling issues are with them.

Well for one my buddies 2019 trd sure didn't run that smooth, and quiet compared to my 2020 sr5. Didn't put out the same power or shift as smooth either. At least he's a happy camper now with the new nissan. I'm still hearing how great this truck is vs the tacoma.

My vibes were tire related. I also got new rotors reconstructed calipers & new brake pads. With the new tires & rims plus the brakes - it’s smooth as butter now

My bets are on unbalanced tire(s). Interesting that a mechanic shop couldn't duplicate; makes you wonder if they ever got it up to speed on road or just jacked it up and accelerated on jack stands looking for something. Either way, maybe take it to a tire shop. Preferably somewhere that can road force balance.

I did have the tires road force balance 3 times once when the new tires were put on and 2 times after that , and I'm feeling the vibration in the steering wheel the floor board and the seat.

Did you use the same shop every time? Probably unlikely, but not completely unheard of to have a shop try multiple times with the same results, and still be wrong. Whether it be a machine not calibrated correctly, a not-so-good tech, etc, I've seen threads of multiple attempts at balancing until a particular shop just finally nailed it. Could also just have a tire that is completely out of round from factory. Any way you can snag some pics of how many weights are on each wheel? Maybe someone around here a little more knowledgeable about balancing tires could tell if a tech threw too much weight at one of the wheels and could potentially point to a suspect tire. Could also have a bent rim, make sure to look those over really well for any imperfections. Besides that, on a completely stock truck, I don't have any other suggestions unfortunately. Maybe check u-joints for any excess play?

When I was looking for new tires I read some reviews that there were some manufacturing defects in some tire brand production runs that were causing problems and tire shops couldn't balance them correctly. The last time they balanced my tires they must have fixed something (wheel threw a weight maybe?) because I don't get any vibrations and I would get some right around 60-63 mph.

If you have exhausted the wheel/tires, look at inner CV joints - especially if vibe has been there since new. I had that issue with a previous vehicle and it stumped everyone. Of course driveshaft/carrier bearing, bent axle are also possibilities.

Check the tires for a small stone inside cause it would do that. I had that experience on my 08. I had new tires installed by the dealer at the end of the workday. I went home and the damn truck was vibrating so bad that I went back to the dealer and they took the tires off and re-balanced them. A day later on a road trip with the family the truck started shaking again. I took it into a tire shop and explained what was going on and they thought that was odd. Make the story short they lifted the truck off the floor and the mechanic walked around the truck and spun the wheels by hand looking for maybe a flaw in the thread. He called me over and said there is a stone inside the tire as you can hear it as he spun it.
He took the tire off and sure enough there it was very small but enough to make the tire out of balance.
So check that out you never know. Just saying.

Possible belt separation (defect) in one of the tires. You can road force balance till the cows come home...won’t help.

    Just a hunch.
