Hey, all! Have gotten lots of great info from @destin_meeks and a few others about bi amping my Kicker Key to bring more power to the KS 6x9s in the door and to the Subaru ‘Kicker’ tweeters instead of them sharing a channel. I bought the Red Wolf female connector pictured below to plug the male connector in at the tweeter location to bring the tweeter and front door speaker out of parallel and will be running new wires to the tweeters. My question relates to whether or not I can wire into the existing tweeter (pictured below) by cutting the red and black wires before they move back into the 4 pin female connector or whether I need to do something else. I’m assuming this will not effect the built in capacitor and that the high pass crossover embedded in the Key will keep the tweeter protected. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!53909EAF-F839-4E62-ACEE-5A5C6F2A3C9E.jpgBE8973B9-2BC7-4969-9862-ED38487DD59A.jpg418357D1-DB5C-4868-823B-5E601EB24EBD.jpg

Just curious, can you see what size the capacitor is on the speaker?
