Hello Guys and Gals…I have a 2005 silver Toyota Tacoma with a brand new frame from recall. I was one of the lucky ones! Anyways I was wondering if anyone knows where the inside air filter thing is? I know there is one in there, I just don’t know where. I’m not talking about under hood, I’m talking about inside the truck ( cabin) thank you!

Cabin air filter. It's behind the glovebox. Drop the glovebox to access it

howd you get a new frame on a 2005? I thought that’s out of the eligible year/date window?

cabin filter not a bad idea to replace as often as every one or two years. Cheap and easy. nicer ones cost more. Like smell reduction stuff. Whether they’re yellow (Mann freciousplus on German cars) or black (activated charcoal). I may have used ac Delco matching OEM part number for my last one, I forget.

It’s different based on car. Like some cars have a way bigger one, or multiple, that lasts longer. Mercedes even used 4. Two for normal mode, and another two for smell canceling mode. That gets turned on by a button

while the Tacoma unfortunately only has one tiny one
