And it's raining !!!

We have some serious wind gusts going on. Oh look at all the new leaves blowing out of the trees.

Good morning everyone! Our high temp for the day was 45* at midnight. Now it's 34* and steadily falling as is the rain. Rain turns to sleet with another 5-8" heavy snow expected this afternoon/evening. Last Sunday we had freezing rain and then 5" of snow which led to over 160 vehicles involved in freeway pileup crashes (remarkably no one was seriously injured). The biggest one was 1 mile from my house (56 vehicles). It will be another fun couple of days around here.

You can keep it, we get enough as it is. Been a dry 'winter' so far so we'll probably be in mud all of April and May.

I am well known for my fails at the keyboard (I am not a touch typist, so never know exactly what I did until I hit <Return> and look up at the screen to see all my mistakes

 

The high for the day came at MIDNIGHT??

 

NBC... just curious, were you in the Chemical Corps? Went through either Basic and/or AIT at Ft. McClellan, AL? I ask, because while I was neither Chemical Corps, nor an MP (both were home based at McClellan at that time), I went through Basic at McClellan in 1985, before they closed the base and sent the MPs to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. No idea where they sent the Chemical Corps.

 

Yeah we hit almost 50* here yesterday which is very unusual. The temp had only dropped to about 45* by midnight and has been continually falling ever since. I was out in the yard about 10pm last night and it was kind of eerie having it so warm even after dark. It's 29* now and should be about 20* by midnight tonight and keep falling.

 

This weather here is getting really nasty !!!

Just had 5 lightning strikes nearby recorded , closest one a half mile away and the farthest 1.5 miles . Also it's raining very hard and has been for the last half hour

 

Looks like a fried brain.

We will have to order a new one.

I heard there was a recall issued on that model, to many desk flips!! They are troubleshooting and getting no where on that model..

hey you guys!! been having issues with my laptop and havent been around for a while too. hope you are all well. thanks for the birthday wishes. prob gonna go get me a new laptop this week. just have to leave this one on 24-7 for now. i"ll be back

 

Checking the documentation shows the brain is available but the 40 year old software has been discontinued, I will see if we have an old set of floppy disks.
