Should probably do the rest of the pulleys as well. Typically when one is starting to make noises the rest of them are not too far behind. I also then had both the alternator and the AC pump bearings go on me last year.

Ordered the Runva 11000 lb winch with synthetic line yesterday :) Just need a set of bumper caps or I'll have to cut mine but not sure if I want to or not.

    Glad you got it!

if I was to do mine over again I would just do the Amazon bearings, but as you found out its pretty easy to remove the pully's
I have a bunch of bearings if anyone in HRM has this happen again. All I require is a cup of coffee at some point, or even a hotdog round a campfire.
Delivery included so we can BS about our trucks LOL.

PS: I REEALLY need to get that muffler off you, you around this family day long weekend?

    yeah Buddy!
Used mine twice two weekend's ago. Once just to use it and get used to everything ( winched over a snow bank using @Canoehead 's truck as the anchor) and the 2nd time was when I had the bright idea to drive back over the same snow bank after my "anchor" left.... and got stuck!

ah well. Used the tree saver strap and winched it over the snowbank again to the amusement of a few neighbors. "what cha doin?............" ".... just playin.... :D"

I'll be around on and off. How about I deliver it for the price of one of those Amazon bearings pressed into my old idler pulley?

You can tap them in, they go in pretty easily! Big socket around the outter race and a hammer! If you don't have a vise!

    exactly!
I did this with a few motorcycle bearings, and I think even with this pulley bearing. I used the socket and my vice.

I do have a 10T press that's just been waiting for its 1st job.... even thought its from Princess Auto, I think it can handle this without too much trouble....

I'm thinking the idler I did had a different bearing in it, but I could be mistaken!

    MO POWA BABY!!!

**** Passively hoping a 2uz falls into my lap relatively cheap. Now that I have the Jetta, it wouldn't be unreasonable to take the truck off the road for a bit!
