Kinda obvious and why I scratch my head over the 3rd Gen tails when the 2nd Gens had the right scheme. One light, one function and amber turns. It ain't hard to figure out. The last thing you want is Chad / Karen to play guessing games with your rear end.

With only two streets and 1 stop sign in Booger Holler, I can clearly see why you disagree...:boink:

Toyota used to be all amber lights. But with the refreshed 14+ Tundras (and current) and 3rd gen Tacoma's they changed for some reason. Now a lot of the domestics have amber lights. It used to be a cool Toyota thing, not sure why they changed.

You can see the reason in the new Tundra. All grille and geriatric sized tailgate badging. Seen a few on the road and it is not flattering. They are copying things the wrong way. Sorta like Hyundai / Kia in the late 90s / early 2ks.

Go your own way, Toyota. You were doing just fine.

I don't know what's up with the grille designers on the Taco/Tundra. I'd love to like the new Tundra but the front end, like the 3rd gen Tacos, looks ridiculous. The lower trim package grilles are almost decent but man, the thing is huge and I just don't get why they think that looks good.

The link to the study is broken in the R&T article. If any would like to read that 2008 study it is located here on NHTSB's website. It is an interesting read.

The Taco grille is a bit large. I wish they lowered the hood line to match the actual rad clearance. It is silly how much more can be seen when the hood is up. Haha!

Designers. Always trying to badly predict the future.

Saw two of these new tundra in different trims, one pro and one off-road. They look nice in person, proportion’s look good at angles you don’t get on a commercial or from depth perception in a photo… the tailgate stamp is obnoxiously placed though

I installed them a couple of months ago, after almost getting rear ended at a light. I honestly feel better driving and turning at intersections with the meso switchback bulbs

Hell yeah! Seeing 3rd Gens braking and turning at the same time is just a laugh.

On the road, it is a big WTF. Haven't seen one parked yet.

It is funny because they had the badging so right on the last gen.
