How to play in the snow like a second gen Tacoma

Last year we got lucky and scored a lunar rock pro. It has an older sister named "Clutch". Clutch is a second gen Tacoma 06 with a manual transmission, cd player, and cigarette lighter thingy.

We Love love love the abs, and traction control on the 4runner it's truly superior to the old taco in every way imaginable.

But even with "traction control" off. The new 4runner simply won't spin, Brody and raise hell like the old taco.

But last night, as my wife and I were ripping around in deep ❄. She discovered her 4runner WILL behave like a gen 2 taco..

You must turn off traction control and switch it into manual drive... Then and only then, will a 2021 4runner let you drive like a complete asshole..

But the abs in front still has no work around. It's still harshen the buzz..

 

My 21 Venture Edition 4runner will spin all day long in the snow if, while stopped, you long press the traction control button for about 5 seconds. That will disengage VCS and TC completely. No need for shifting to "manual". However tapping the brakes will ABS the living f*** out of you real quick. Lol

 

This right here! Have to be at a full stop and hold it for several seconds to turn off nanny mode.

 

It's the same situation in my 3rd gen tacoma as well.

I dont know that its the same in a 4R, but this changed empty parking lots for me
