I just ordered a set of the bronze AGP replica wheels (TRD Pro style) and I'm happy I found this forum before I got them! I used the new trail edition center caps (PT280-35221-5F) and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

That color looks awesome with your truck. What size tires did you get?

285/70/17 Firestone MT, I kept the same tires that were on the truck when I bought it

Looks really good! Are your front fenders trimmed?

Yes I got lucky and found a snorkel with the fenders already cut so I just had to trim my bumper to line up with the fendersF2B1D38B-42BD-449C-A351-2D0CE3614AD8.jpg

So I think it is clear that the rear hub needs to be grinded to make these fit in the rear, but I am still unclear about the front...

Some say you need to remove the dust cap but it seems most people have not done anything to the front. Can anyone confirm what needs to be done in the front?

I am not worried about removing the dust cap, I think it will stay dry around the nut. If you were really worried about it you could remove the nut and put some rtv around the axle the put the nut back on, similar to what you do on most transfer case or diff flanges.

I preferred the new heritage Toyota caps vs the red TRD caps. Part is PT280-35221-5F

So the OEM Tacoma cap works with the replicas?

I recall in the other replica thread (2022 TRD Pro Rims) that the Tacoma OEM caps were suppose to fit, but there was a mistake and they used the specs for the Tundra OEM caps. Wondering if this is a similar case.

I am not sure about that. I have genuine 2021 4Runner TRD Pro wheels and swapped out the red TRD caps for the Toyota heritage caps.

Im sure its been addressed, were there any issues mounting the rims? Some said yes, others said no, others resorted to shaving down the rear hub…

No issues. No rubbing. Fits like a glove. Everything else is stock for now

If I recall, the OEM 4Runner TRD Pro Rims on the Tacoma may need to have the part for the dust cap cover to be shaved down a little to sit flush to the rotor.

The replicas do not have this issue.

I had no issues with the cap covers either. They just popped right on and sit flush with the rim, no modding necessary. Check out the photo.

Yes, there "may" be a need for modification, as there were cases the OEM rims they left a small gap between the rim and rotor when mounted.

This is the part that needs grinding if you have the OEM rims.IMG_4547.jpg

We had to do the same for an acquaintance's truck.

Only thing with the replicas, I think its been confirmed that the OEM caps do not fit… that’s the only thing stopping me from purchasing.

Yeah, I did wish the OEM caps worked with them. In the other thread for the 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro Replicas, the Tacoma caps do not work, but the Tundra caps do. Wondering if the situation is similar and there are OEM caps that will work for our wheels.

If anything, I was hoping FSW would have came out with a v2 that addressed this issue.

As with the case for their 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro Replicas, I'm hoping for a v2 that makes adjustments to make look more like the OEM and have the correct OEM cap fitment.

Not sure how reputable this company is. Found another set of replicas.
