Had 488s installed two weeks ago. Was finally able to drive past 60. Noticed when slowly letting off gas in two wheel drive, there is a slight vibration that i did not have prior, but goes away if I completely take foot off gas. Wondering if anyone knows about this. Seems like a drive shaft vibration with slight vibration type noise. I don't think its gears but just looking for some stuff to have installers look at or for. Seals, etc...
    TIA

I saw you posted on this previously but want to confirm, does the vibration go away in 4wd?

I'm hoping this is what it is. Last thing I want is for them to have to open up my rear diff again.

I don't take it to that speed in 4 wheel, so I don't know.

If it doesn’t occur in 4wd it could be the needle bearing. Common failure but typically is only noticed on lifts not gears.

Vibration rarely comes from gears so wondering if it’s the CB or driveshaft.

Something in the driveline then. You still have a warranty with Toyota? They can take a look at it and don’t have to know about the gears.

Have you tried lightly letting off the gas at other speeds to verify it's only happening at/above 60mph?

My 05 was doing the same thing last year. It was the driveshaft bearing.
