News said they were ‘driving too fast for conditions’, lost control in the fast lane trying to pass a plowtruck and nailed the wing on it.

Anyone have any recommendations for an inspection shop that might not look too closely at some rust issues? :D

My normal guys failed my car for a bunch of things. I expected some work needed to be done, but I get the feeling they just dont want my work anymore. Among other things they told me I failed for an "oil line" leak and the oil pan gasket was starting to leak. I know the source was a different leak altogether because I fixed it a few weeks back. But I didnt even think you could fail for that..

At any rate Id like to get a second opinion before I decide which way to go

I joined the GMRS world. Got these:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096533TR6?ie=UTF8

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016SIJX28?ie=UTF8

Price was right. Reviews were ok. Small enough to keep it out of the way in the cab. I need to figure out where to run the antenna.

Is anyone else going to the Total Archery Challenge at Pico? I am shooting Saturday and Sunday and would be up for a more remote camping setup within an hour or so of the mountain. I will check iOverlander and other sites, but if anyone had anything planned we could convoy over there as is practical.

Suggestions for fab shops between Augusta, Bangor and down toward Milbridge?

Looking to have something similar to a Wilco hitch but w/o the tire mount made a few other personal touches but that's the gist.

Just followed an awesome third gen silver double cab off road out of North Conway to 302 in Fryeburg. License plate was redsx1. If you’re on here, that’s a killer rig.

I’m in midcoast Maine. Anyone know of any light off roading for a newbie south of Bangor and east of Augusta? I’m looking to try it out when the weather improves.
