    2018 Silver Tacoma SR5 V6
Greetings all, this is my first post on the forum. I have a Silver 2018 Tacoma SR5 V6. I've done a few basic mods like LED headlights & fog lights, K&N air filter and a Rough Country Tonneau cover, but probably the mod I am most proud of is one that isn't obvious... my solid-steel factory shield to prevent theft of the catalytic converter! I just installed it in January; it was a pretty easy job and an exact fit to 8 existing bolts on the frame supports; there are a couple of additional security bolts as well (six-point star). I also used two jack stands to brace the plate in place while I put on the bolts. It's quarter-inch thick steel, and will present a major challenge to a crook that's looking for a quick cut-off... photo attached.
