Anyone want a free 255/85R16 BFG KM2 to use as a trail spare? Decent tread but tire has been sitting for a few years so probably only good for a trail emergency.

Hey guys, I'm debating selling my Smittybilt Overlander RTT. I'm not putting too much effort into it since I don't need to sell it, I just haven't been doing much camping and would rather use the money towards some other projects. Well...I drove my PreRunner to Maine and back last weekend, and managed to bottom out my rear suspension on the ski area access road. Now I have a vibration under acceleration mostly between 30-50mph. Thinking it's a u joint, carrier bearing, or - best case - just a missing wheel weight. Any independent shops around here to take it to? I'd rather avoid the dealership, especially after learning how to do basic maintenance myself during the pandemic.

 

Let me know what you find… just noticed a severe alignment issue on mine after a few long road trips. Probably should stop trying to jump rail road tracks too


Side note - Finally got around to getting Tiffany a new helmet

 

I've had good luck with ORI in winchester VA. Issue is make sure you call to set an appointment, because they are usually booked up.

The hourly rate is much lower than a dealership
