Thanks for all the advice, fellas. Definitely didn’t mean to start any arguments lol.

I probably undersold the amount of bubbles. Don’t have any pics, but driver side window has probably 20-25 pinhead-sized bubbles running along the edge near the pillar. The passenger side has 10ish bubbles right in the middle of the window that I can see just looking out that window when driving, plus one larger bubble in the top corner. I know it doesn’t really affect anything, but it just doesn’t look good.

Based on everyone’s responses I think I’m gonna see if they will take it off and refund the money. If they won’t, I’ll probably have them redo it one more time.

My poor wheels and raptor lights can’t even defend themselves lol

But you’re right, I am really big on keeping my truck, guns, tools, etc clean and cared for. I’m not the type of guy to ignore little issues.

    Check build thread!
    That's the best option IMO.

Sometimes bubbles in the tint will go away after the tint 'dries'. This can take a while in the winter.
Park your truck in that Texas sun and let it heat up for a while.

I've had perfect tint on 2 cars, no bubbles, no jagged edges, no gaps, no peeling, had each one for 2 years no issues. Bubbles after a few years is understandable but I can't see handing someone as finished product that has any bubbles, any jagged edges or even any bigger than necessary gap at edges.
I'm wondering what's acceptable to you as someone with that much experience? I just got mine done today. I know you have to give it a few days for the windows and week to let any bubbles dry up. I'm hoping there's not more than like 1/8" gap at the top edges, no gap would be better but I can live it. I will be disappointed if its even close to 1/4" Any more than that I'll have to get it redone, weather they honor it or not because it'll bother me every time I see it. But I'm expecting perfect edges and zero bubbles. They have computer cut tints now so if you cant get it resembling that I don't think its acceptable. Do you think that some flawed edges and a couple bubbles is acceptable? I just cant imagine that being true.

Had my 2006 Scion xB done 15 years ago. Still perfect, not one bubble in all these years 185000 miles parked outside.

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
All the times I have seen dealers offering tint, it's outsourced to someone local.
Either they know how to do it or they don't.
I would see if the dealer comp you back for something like parts.
Peel it off and find someone local to do it right; stand by their work.
buy once, cry once. Done right it will last a lifetime.

    Pics. Because everyone loves pics.
My old 2000 Benz. In 2018. Had great tint. This was 4 years, never in in a garage.

Where I live, tint is useless unless you want the gangsta' look.

I've had my windows tinted on all my Tacos 1-2-3 Gen and never had any problems with bubbles. If whoever is doing does it right then there should be no problems. I would never let the dealer tint croonies touch my truck. Not their specialty. just saying

Window tint 101. Absolutely clean window before install, if not, stuff can happen. I have had window tint done before, I asked the installer about the 'bubbles' issue I had seen on many cars that were tinted and he just laughed. He stated all bubbling is because of a poor install and poor prep. He was right, no bubbles EVER showed up on that car...and he operated out of his home garage, not some brick and mortar facility...
