I didn't like how tame the stock exhaust was.. The most notable difference between our setups is that my exhaust dumps right after the cab. My exhaust tone is much more prominent/gurgle-y. Yours sounds really nice though.

It seriously is a custom one off piece made by a local exhaust shop in my area. It starts as 2.5" duals at the main cats like OE except OE is 2" and then turns into a 2.5" X pipe, but defaults as a Y until I give it some juice. There is a boost activated cutout on the driver's side portion of the X pipe as soon as it exits to the pipe. Then they both finish off onto two Black Widow Venom 250 mufflers.

    Hahaha. Left speechless?

Me too. Lol. Everytime I roll down the back windows now. Underpasses and tunnels have become my new favorite places to give the truck some beans.

    No drone either. ;)

Been checking out your setup a lot lately and strongly considering doing this, minus the cutout though.

One day I may ditch the cutout entirely, but it is fun to activate and adds a layer of an aggressiveness in sound when open that without it would otherwise not be there. I agree though it adds an extra complexity to the system.

I'm finally getting around to replacing the muffler and looking at the 70 series muffler it measures like 1/2 of the volume of the stock muffler, this has me a little hesitant since I'm not looking increase noise just kill the 90's civic that pipes up around 3k-4K rpm. Anyone else try the 70 series flowmaster and what were the sound levels like compared to stock?

Where did you have this done at, and how much did it cost? I'm looking for something just like that. Looks like you may be local to me, based on your sig pic... Alameda Naval Base?

I got it done at West Coast Muffler in Concord. They do STELLAR work and I just recently got some stainless steel J pipes installed onto my axleback system for my Camaro there. Totally happy with their work. I cannot disclose how much it cost me, however, as they made me the system at a price cheaper than should be.

I am local indeed. That is the Alameda naval base you see there.
