I have a 06 dbl cab and the clear coat is failing all over the truck especially on the hood and roof. What is the best way to fix the failed clear coat? I thought to have it wrapped any pro or cons to have wrapped?? Or have a repaint of the truck and pro and cons of having that done.

    Thank you for your time

Wrapping would be cheaper than a professional paint job, but I wouldn't consider it a permanent solution. If you're able to wrap it yourself it would considerably cheaper and possibly cheaper in the long run depending on how long you have your truck. If you're in Florida and it's not garaged I wouldn't consider wrapping it IMO.

As stated above, wrap is short term fix. Repaint is better long term.

My second attempt, there are a lot of mistakes "seams, patches," but you get better as you practice!
