So it seems like every time I go to checkout and purchase a lift I read why another option would better suit my needs. Digressive vs Progressive vs Linear my head is going to explode. I have a work truck that I daily drive 5 days a week. This truck is mainly used to go on weekend errands and camping trips once a month carrying usually 300lbs in the rear with roof rack and sliders up front. Terrain will be forest roads to moderate trails and slow speeds. I’ve done this for 2 years with stock suspension but as I’ve added more weight so I’ve started to ride the bump stops. I want something that is smooth at slower speeds.
Looking to do 2” in the front and and whatever in the back to either get leveled and very slight rake. Also I definitely going with a full leaf pack replacement. I like the Icon RXT. Budget is around $2k and I’ll be installing myself. Let me hear your real world experience:)

What evidence do you have that you are riding the bump stops?

I'm couple weeks into an Ironman4x4 foam cell stage 2, just over 2" on the lift. It's night and day on the ride, though it's snowboard season so my only testimony is on washboard dirt roads and parking areas (and a few curb jumps). It's night and day on the washboard gravel roads. Sure, I bounce around a little but I don't fee like I'm being tossed around inside a tin can.
