I did the same thing to my cup holder surround. Initially it was electrical taped, while I was waited to see if meso would ever make one. But Dave, davesa, said he had painted his…. So a I gave it a shot. And by the same thing, I’m talking about lack of prep work. It’s held up well for about a year now. It has a few chips but It’s not blinding me so I like that.

I'm finally starting on the first iteration of my daydream woodshop in a couple weeks. It's gonna take a while to get things established, but it's exciting to know it's finally happening. :yay:

For the foreseeable future I still have to depend on cooler friends with auto garages/tools though.

If yours cracks again, they make a solid back panel. That's what I use in the winter so I don't crack my one with a window.

thanks guys, it was without a doubt the most memorable trip I’ve ever taken. I’ve wanted to go there for years and finally made it a priority this year.

Thanks! I really like the canopy, the truck even seems to drive better with the added weight..or I could just be telling myself that.

Haha, thanks @BudFriendguy - once I finish my retaining wall project, I’ll introduce the NEW and improved shop in the other forum. Im sitting at 1200’ now, but doubling it to 2400’. Can’t wait - just need the wall done and solar installed! Patience is NOT my virtue!

Side mirrors and anytime reverse camera are a good combo.

Man I cannot keep up with this thread. 500 posts behind again and I read a handful of pages a day.

Anyway I just did this TRD shift knob a few days ago and I am absolutely loving it. Now I have 9 5/8 rubber grommets I have no idea what to do with because I could only buy a 10 pack

I'm one of those weirdos that firmly believes the side mirrors are for viewing to the side of the vehicle, not to the rear. It annoys me a bit when I'm sitting directly behind somebody at a light and I can see all of their face in the driver's side mirror. I'm just like, "Your mirrors are incorrectly adjusted, you dipshit. No wonder you need blindspot monitoring."

As for the anytime reverse, how does that work with nav or stereo functions? Or did you swap out your rearview mirror with a rearview screen and pipe the video through to that? Legitimately curious about that one because it's a possibility I'd like to keep in my back pocket.
