I'm looking for an electric generator that I can charge using the outlet in the bed, but then use to power corded drills and circular saws for a short period of time - since you can't run a circuit saw off the bed outlet as is.

Let's say I want to make 20 cuts with a circ or chop saw per charge.

Any recommendations? Of course if this conversation already exists, please link.

It sounds like you're looking for a battery pack, not a generator. Is this the case?

You might be further ahead buying a nice cordless saw of your choice. You can recharge the battery pack off the outlet in the bed, or at home before going to the job site.

I think a good quality cordless tool set will be less expensive and more useful than a quality rechargeable battery pack capable of doing what you want.
