First Time Tacoma Owner - Long Time Toyota Lover

Hello!

My name is Stephen and I am from the Cape Cod, MA area. I am currently leasing my 2020 TRD Off Road but I am buying it in May when my lease ends. I use my Tacoma as my daily driver but love to take it on the beaches of the Cape as well as the local off roading spots in my area. I am a lover of all things firearms, hunting, fishing and Toyotas!

My father instilled the love of Toyotas into me with the serious Maine terrain we have covered in his 2005 SR5 Tundra. He has put 260k HARD miles on his truck and it has never left him stuck. It also serves as a good luck charm for us on our hunting trips.

Looking forward to being an active member in this welcoming community and utilizing it to gain helpful and valuable knowledge as I begin to pimp my ride!

A coworker of mine does truck frame coatings using Correseal. However, it is a binding agent to already rusted frames. Currently the only undercarriage protection I use is a good rinse after any exposure to sand, salt or anything else that can get stuck up there. I have a pressure washer and one of those wheelie attachments. Definitely going to look into a sealant option.

Coroseal is the best rust converter I've ever found. Great work washing the undercarriage
Stay away from hard undercoating,
Wash and apply corrosion prevention every spring and fall.
