hey there so I took on the task of manual swapping my 2006 tacoma has a 4.0 in it.
I happened to have an entire parts truck (2005 tacoma) to do the swap which made it nice for a few of the pedal mounts / ebrake

took me 3 days to swap everything
    swapped both diffs
    trans, transfer case
    interior pieces

took about 6 hours to screw around with pedals and mounting tried to take a few photos for you guys

the factory connectors for the manual pedal where tucked in my harness so no need on adapting, only thing I had to extend inside truck was my e brake plug to reach new location

Nice job on the write up, thanks for sharing.
Actually fortunate enough to find and purchase a 6 speed at the stealership, IMHO standard is the way to go.

I think you cut the Downhill assist switch connector instead of the clutch start cancel switch....

What're you going with for a shifter setup?
    Stock TOB?
FJ assembly for the cylinder/pedal or just the doner 'Taco parts?
    Big props to ya.
When mine finally goes - here's to hoping no time soon - looking at the RA62 for a swap.

I pulled all the pedals outta another Tacoma which was really handy for the swap, I was going to just use a wilwood pedal and then modify my brake pedal would be a easy option

the ebrake assembly would be the hardest part I think outta the system I’d say

I used a manual ecu and then did the paper clip Immobilize trick to get my
Keys to work, worked really well here are some photos

Would be pin 4 and pin 13 you have to jump for 30 mins with key in the on position
