    So I drive a 05' Toyota Hilux Surf with the 2.7L 2TR-FE and I was wondering if it's a direct plug in play or do I need to do some wiring if anyone here knows Thanks.

    Welcome to TW! :hattip::wave:

    Your ride is known as the 4th Generation 4Runner in North America, and I honestly did not know that generation was available with the 2TR-FE in other countries; You learn something new everyday!

    The 5th Gen T4R came standard with the 2TR-FE only in 2WD with the base SR5 trim, and only in the 2010 model year.

    As for your original question, and the owner of a Tacoma with the 2TR-FE and one-factory cruise control, I can tell you that cruise is not plug and play. If your rig has a manual transmission, an extra wire to the clutch is required.

    This vehicle is not a manual, automatic like a 4th gen 4runner, I just need to know what wiring I need to add
