I am going to be getting my frame replaced in the next few months at Toyota and I took this opportunity to finally investigate lifting my truck now. Originally, I thought my truck was toast on the frame and it wasn't rusted enough to get the recall done, but it actually is.

I know the majority of what they replace when they do the frame (waiting for full parts list) but I figured, might as well replace more while it is apart.

I'm not looking for a super heavy duty lift. Just a simple 2" lift as I would like to take the truck camping or on trails in the future, but also to keep it somewhat smooth on the road too. As it is my daily, also. At the moment, I'd want to keep the 265 Hankook Dynapro ATM's I have on now, as they aren't even a year old yet.

I've been looking at OME & Bilstein lifts but there are just a ton of options out there. Just looking for suggestions to pick through to see what is best for me. I'm not sure about AAL or to completely switch out the Leaf Pack in general. I don't want the rear to be that much higher than the front, lol. I know springs settle over time.

I'd say my budget is MAX $2500, maybe some wiggle room there depending. Like I said, just looking for some suggestions and ideas from anyone that has these moderate lifts on their 2nd gens.

Bilstein 6112 for front and 5125 in rear. OME Dakar leaf pack or many of the other equivalents and that should get the rear moderately lifted. This will easily keep you under budget. Yes, there are a LOT of options and opinions out there. For what it sounds like you're looking for, you will likely be happy with many of the selections out there.

I second this - I spent A LOT more and probably didn't need to; only thing is do a bit of research on leaf packs, most people like OME Dakar but I have seen a few the bash them. In general look for a higher leaf count pack that adds 1-2" lift

In the same boat here. Waiting for the frame to arrive and I've been researching different options since the dealer is willing to put on some of the parts for no labour charge.
I've keep coming back to the 6112/5160 combo with a new OME leaf pack.
Haven't heard back yet if they'll put all that on for free. I know the rear shocks they will for sure, not sure about the rest yet.

Most of the Dakar’s for 05-15 give a 2.75” lift. Is this that noticeable? Or is there a less of a lift leaf pack out there? I’d assume add a leaf would be less but I am trying to just get a whole new pack. Definitely trying to keep it as leveled as possible, hah. I’m looking to go this route but man, just so many options LOL
