Does anyone have a recommendation for a rear LED light bar with sequential turn signals and brake lights? The light bar I have now doesn't get much use. The Baja's in the rear bumper get used more. Thank you!Mar_2021_Rear.jpg All_lights_Rear.jpg

You could use a tailgate light strip or bar. But if money wasn't an issue and absolute performance and reliability is highest priority, then I would go with this below

    - 38" (looks about the same length you currently have) https://ultrabrightlightz.com/collections/led-stick-lights/products/feniex-quad-800-stick-light
    - Amazon link https://www.amazon.com/Feniex-QUAD-800-Lightstick-Converter/dp/B08F62S14D?th=1
    - 28" https://ultrabrightlightz.com/collections/led-stick-lights/products/feniex-quad-600-stick-light

There is a lot of potential with those QUAD lights. Since each section has red, blue, amber and white, it isn't like every other police light bar that splits sections for a different color. Plus each section can be controlled independently so you can come up with any combo you want to. It has a brake pop function that gives 3 pops at full power and reduces down when the brakes are applied. Of course it does have a running light, turn signal and white for a scene flood light as well. You can make the blinker function just the outside section or sequential on one side from the center to the outside. There are some videos on youtube for a better run down of them.

I will be getting a pair of Feniex Quad surface mounts for the rear of my motorcycle this spring for better visibility in traffic.

If you don't care if there is no amber turn signal and you are ok with a red turn signal, the XKGlow tailgate bar is pretty dang nice too.

If you want a low profile tailgate bar that has amber, the Putco ones are nice...but no sequential turn signal.

If you want an LED tailgate light bar I'd spend the extra dollars and get the putco blade since it has a 3 year warranty. The OPt7 redline triple (in my opinion) looks the best but definitely has reliability issues. As in I've had 3 go bad and others I know have also had them go out. IF you get one of them definitely opt for their better warranty.

I actually had ordered a Putco Blade with amber TS that was supposed to ship before Christmas with their pnp wiring harness for the 15+ Fords. Last I checked they are now showing them as shipping by Mar 9th. The PNP harness is a big deal on the fords with smart tow. You cannot plug into the trailer harness at all or it thinks you have a trailer attached and things change.

TacoFergie do you have stock in Fenix as you sure keep pointing them out for use in things they really weren't intended for?

    Thanks Gents!

What I really want is to replace the light bar on my camper shell with a light bar with sequential turn signals, brake light and reverse light.

I like the features of the stick on stuff but the price-point is juuuussttt close enough between the Baja and the Putco/OPT-7. I agree the OPT-7 looks better but I've heard the same on performance.

My hitch connect is hidden behind my license plate on my Pelfreybilt bumper.

The Feniex stuff is cool but I don't think the price-point matches my application.

Haha, I don't. But I think the limitless possibilities of them make them a very versatile light if someone wants to spend the money on them. There is no denying they are bright, reliable or pretty dang cool. The ability to customize the way your light functions opens up all sorts of possibilities. It can function as a chase light off road, flood light at the camp site, very noticeable warning light on the side of road, light can be dimmed or full brightness and the regular old functions of a running light, brake light and turn signal. Of course it takes a little common sense to not use the red and blue together so you don't get yourself into trouble...but that's up to the owner, just like not using high beams or off-road lights in traffic.

To my knowledge, there is no other single light source that has red, white and amber in one assembly that doesn't split sections off. Heck, I've been looking for a simple Red/Amber strip or low profile bar for my motorcycle for a while. The only two I have found that have Red and Amber in one strip that doesn't look tacky are from Radiantz lighting and Custom Dynamics. But both of those would be about the same price as a pair of Feniex Quad surface mount.

I hear ya on the Feniex stuff, but it is cool! lol I was really just throwing things out there.

I've had bad luck with OPT7 stuff in the past too, though it's probably been 5+ yrs since I've used them.

Putco is very reliable and is used in trucking and towing so it's pretty durable too.

There are tons of companies who make chase bars like the Baja Designs you posted earlier. But to my knowledge, none with a sequential turn signal.

I purchased a cheap strip light kit White for front and Red for back. I bought a Fuse Tap and placed it in both the DRL and Fog Light Fuse slot. Both slots the light came on while the truck wasn't running or anything. The product sucks, however I wonder what i'm doing wrong with the Fuse Tap??? Strip only has hot/neutral straight to the LEDs.

    Thanks.
