This truck is goddamn wackadoo. At this point I might give it an actual name, "The Misery Machine" seems fitting...

Nice looking truck. How do you like the light in the Westin Bull Bar? I am going back and forth between that bar with a light or just a hidden light bar. Thanks.

Greatly improved pedal response, which could be good or bad.

    1st-2nd it's actually a bit much and I over-rev quite a bit.

2nd-3rd+ it's pretty nice and makes shifts a little smoother.

That said, since I do a lot of stop/go city driving, I'd prefer to tone the response back down a bit more toward stock-ish levels. Pedal response is cool and all, but really all it means is the truck is acting more like you're mashing the go-go pedal which isn't really my style.

It does make driving like kind of a jerk easier with the stiffer accelerations "off the line."

I think the atmospheric pressure, humidity and temperature play a huge role in Portland. My gas mileage would fluctuate up to 7 mpg from winter to summer there. When there was no moisture in the air, meaning clear blue skies in the winter, the engine seemed to pull strong, in the rain at the same temp, it would feel like it was choking.

This truck definitely struggles in the rain, to the point that I've been a bit concerned a couple times at its performance thinking "how could rain be so detrimental to the performance???"

That could easily be attributed to wet roads and winter-mix gas

I know humidity plays a role, when moving across country my mpg dropped 3 miles per gallon in the High humidity. Moisture and fire don’t mix well.

Yeah, but you'll also see a hit in heavy mist/rain/slush/snow because of the effects on the tires. It's just requires more energy to drive on wet roads, even if there's no standing water and roads tend to be wet quite a bit during the winter.

It wasn’t raining in the high humidity. There’s more moisture in the air and less oxygen in the air is what I’m trying to say. Even if there is no moisture on the ground. The engine wants dry air to burn fuel most efficiently.

Quite a bit of rake empty bed - but with my tire carrier and spare 35 that’s nearly 200lbs, it has the rake for a reason.
