Hey everyone I’ve owned my taco outright for about 6 years now, she’s pushing 305,000 miles. Best truck I’ve ever owned. I’m gonna get buried in the damn thing I swear it. It’ll just save sum money for a coffin. Hahaha anyways just want Ed say hi. And perhaps someone that has installed a trailer brake controller and possibly had it cause some issues with the actual truck braking system please enlighten me as to why my brake like is on and the truck is making an intermittent dinging noise. This after installing a plug and play trailer brake control.

    Check brake fluid level
    Low level triggers a warning

No clue as to your brake light predicament, hopefully someone can shed some light on the issue.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that something is going on with my emergency brake. The warning beep only starts to go off as soon as I start going like a mile or 2 an hour. Still haven’t figured out why. It only started doing this after I fiddled around by the fuse box in the cab to find the oem plug and play connector. All of the brakes seem to be working fine, even the emergency brake seems to be working fine as well as the trailer brakes. Has anyone had this problem before. I’m getting to the point where Im just going to try and disconnect the emergency brake.
