    I built the dog house out of 1x4 T&G red cedar..lol.

    The roof is hinged so you can open it to clean it, the entire thing is built with GC 3/4" ply, with 2 layers of foam board insulation (sandwiching the ply) and then clad in cedar T&G. I even insulated the floor and roof. The inside walls have cammo blankets hung from them, they're removable so you can wash them. Damned thing weighs about 500 pounds. The dogs love it.
