    Thanks!
straight from Alcan Spring. Took about 4 or 5 phone calls to dial in what I needed. But damn, they’re good!
I sent measurements for new bolts as well and they supplied them too. Awesome experience and customer service. Although, I wish the paint was better but whatever, that’s just aesthetics

It’s going to be mounted in the bed/back rsi canopy door. So I’m trying to utilize what I have done already or that’s near by (the 10awg power/ground are already ran previously so I’d like to tap into this and the 7pin trailer plug is near by so that’s why I got the curt harness to actually tap into that for the acc wire).

I’ll get a front dash cam once I get the rear setup, i was looking at blackvue but if I find the garmin mini is decent enough then I might just get another of those (with the rear view dongle)

Technically you flip it over to protect the stem but this too.

I know some mount it face down to have access to the stem /air versus dropping it. I thought of flipping mine but decided against it

Good looking truck. I’m just about ready to buy new tires for my truck. I’m guessing just before vacation. How is the ride and how noisy are they?

Something close to this is on my “to do” list, safe assumption you have the resonator at the front due to space restrictions? I am thinking a chambered muffler, what did you go with? Looks great!

Thanks! I got xl load and have only put on about 100 miles so far, but the ride is fantastic. Very confident and grippy on the road and excellent response. My gf even commented how much better the truck feels now.

As for road noise, I’m surprised but happy to say these things have been extremely quiet. I haven’t noticed an increase in noise compared to the cheapo ATs that we’re on before despite the much more aggressive tread. Very pleased with the purchase so far

These units are cool - could also program a tilt and compass modes on it as well (to do list).

These were fairly a quick and easy install. I was going back and forth also on these and sent them both to my wife as a gift idea and she picked these. These seem to be good quality and I see no issues with the craftsmanship of them. I do like the angled slot on the victory panels though…I see that being useful!

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Installed a couple of extra locks on my UWS cross bed toolbox. The locks are pretty lame on these types of tool boxes, just pry with a crowbar and you are in.

These extra locks are by no means that much more secure, but they might prevent some guys from giving it a go, at the least slow them down. I am so often offroad and at very remote spots and my truck left alone and out of sight, so any extra security is good. Maybe tape some razor blades inside the box in prime spots so they’ll know they earned it should they get in. :)

Used the Master Lock double hinged hasps to fold over the box edge. Had to build out the front with 1/2 inch plywood, painted and the holes sealed with outdoor sealant to prevent leakage into the box.

    https://www.masterlock.com/products/product/722DPF

Job is not finished yet. Later I’ll replace the plywood pieces with 1/2 inch steel plates and also fit a folded steel plate over the top of the hasp that will fold right over and cover the front facing part of the hasp to prevent anyone prying the hasps off. The bolts I used won’t give way, no worries there but the hasps can be shattered.

The toolbox itself has double ties on both sides to prevent thieves from removing and taking the entire box. Going to figure some way to make that even more secure.

My spare tire is bolted through into the bottom of the toolbox.

    Slowly but surely…

For an old Ford of mine I had a welding shop build for me a heavy steel box 4 ft wide by 24 inch by 32 inch made from 5/16 inch steel with flaps that fully prevented access to the locks with any type of bar. Could barely fit a key into the locks. That box was bolted through the truck bed and it was like a bank vault. I kept all my tools in there full time and left my truck on remote roads hundreds of times with never a worry about the toolbox. Taking the whole truck, well thats a different matter…
