1st gen map light help

Thanks for any help in advance. I changed out my map light from the OEM first gen to a 4 runner map light/sunglass holder. When I plugged the new light in, it didn’t work. I tried changing back to the original map light wondering if it was the light fixture itself but the original did not work either. I’ve tried changing the bulbs as well to no avail. I can’t exactly figure out which fuse it is on but I tried a couple of lighting fuses and it still doesn’t work. Kinda scratching my head over here. Any help would be appreciated
