With that mentality stop using the AR platform.

@scifidelity I've used the Eotech 512, and the XPS-2 extensively and yeah the 512's were getting worn out but the past 6 years has been minimal issues.

An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. I think it's more that if you spent your time boycotting every company that's done something wrong in their tenure, it would leave a pretty slim list to choose from.

And if everyone's memory is so short that they blissfully can overlook greasy shenanigans and corruption you're blindness is even more exacerbated.

More like people have used Eotech with great success for many years and aren't going to suddenly boycott the company for a single problem that's been fixed, and only happened under extreme temperature conditions.

I’m probably one of like 3 or 4 here that are NOT a mall ninja or some has been POG. I mean, eotechs are still in circulation at socom and most .gov agencies. Even if you don’t care about anything I say, it’s hard to refute that. Literally the opposite of mall ninjas.

The amount of waste fraudulent behavior and abuse of government funds aka leeching on the government is SO common, I don’t feel the need to get all righteous about it. I lived over 20 years of it. Outside of a very specific rotation of people in the SOF community who are already very small number as it is, will be in the temp ranges in question. It simply was never a issue for me. I even got money back for my personal one from the lawsuit. Neither issued or personal had any issues minus an issued one having reticle fade in Alaska. Like over 15 years ago.

I guess a lot of people just don't really mind being lied to.

I don't like being lied to.

    And I hold grudges.

That looks really good! How is the durability of that paint? I'm too lazy and cheap to do Cerakote, so I'm looking for DIY alternatives.

Since my RT-1 was destroyed, ran to the LGS yesterday and grabbed a Burris 332 to throw on the 10.5" 300acc build for now, along with a few boxes of 9mm and 380. Wasn't my first choice in optics but Optics Planet has them on closeout for $199 and the LGS price matches. Also my S15 mags and mag release showed up from Primary Arms for the EDC gun.

L3 may have been guilty of fraud. But when it came time to swap out my 512. they didn't ask any questions and swapped it one for one at NO cost to me.

Not sure. It's rattle can, so it's gonna wear. This is the first gun I've ever done. I don't expect it to hold up lol.

Just had one of these delivered to my folks place. I'll pick it up next time I go into town.
