Our Harman pellet stove has been our primary heat for 4 years now...it's been great.
I still have the Brunco coal/wood hearth insert and 4 cords in reserve in the wood racks...just in case.
(It got to be too much any more to cut and split all the wood needed to be the primary heat source).
I run the propane furnace now and then just to be sure it works.

Every recent analysis I've read points to an extended period of higher oil prices.
How high and for how long?
    Who knows? :notsure:

Here's something you may find interesting...

Few or (possibly) none of the OPEC plus group are pumping their full allocation.
Some analysts are beginning to suspect that they can't.

    Two main reasons:

    1) There was an oil glut in 2018-20 and prices crashed.
The result has been under-investment in exploration, drilling, infrastructure, etc, these last few years.
It's never a matter of just turning on the taps, that's not how it works.

    2) Large banks have been under pressure from governments and (so-called) activist investors to reduce lending to oil companies.
    Environmental concerns.

You have two coins that equal 30 cents, but one is not a quarter. What coins do you have?

I ended up getting a Hyundai Santa Fe. I didn’t have much of a selection in this hick town and didn’t have a ride to anywhere else. It’s not a bad little buggy. With the back seats folded down I can sleep in it. It has all the fancy doo-dads like navigation and CarPlay so I can live with it.

It also has a lot of storage under the back floor where most put the spare tire. It has the spare underneath the car where it belongs. I can fit most of my camping gear under there.
