    Just purchased a 2009 Tacoma 4x4 and am running into some code problems 48hrs off the lot. Other than that it's been a GREAT/FUN truck. I am hoping to gain some knowledge from this communities expertise. Thanks in advance.

    P0456...Check Engine with small traction indicator light. I've already changed the gas cap bought at Toyota. Had a smoke test and that's where it showed...BUT did not solve the problem. So then changed the Purge valve, hoses from valve and going to continue on down the line. That damn Indicator light is driving me crazy.

    EVAP codes require multi drive cycles to reset. Keep the fuel below 1/2 full.
    Start engine and drive 30 minutes at a steady 35 mph. Turn off engine and do the same tomorrow.
