Is it possible to run a dual battery set up an arb compressor and switch pro mounted under the hood I have not seen anybody do it, anybody out to have experience with this trying to navigate how to get all of these components under the hood.?

Simple solution, remove the hood. You could probably attach a full size shop air compressor up there then.

It would likely fit, but dual battery is a lot of weight I'd put the second on the passenger side near firewall and mount the ARB in the bed cubby. Switchpro on driver side by fuse panel.

I have the OFF-Grid engineering dual battery kit "Split system" and it (the second battery) takes up the usual location that people mount the ARB compressor. So that would be a challenge unless you did the side-by-side technique OR mount the ARB compressor between the Grill and Radiator, which is possible but an interesting location.

If that was your plan it could work, you'll have to get creative. The SP9100 mount will be your least obtrusive component.

I've seen some mount a single ARB compressor up near the radiator. So if you want it bad enough it could be done

That may work however then I could put solar on my hood then where would we be? Lol thanks for the replay lol
Ya thinking about that set up we use our bed as a sleep area so I could reroute the hose/connector to outside. I just worry about bad weather and having it open our sleeping area up to the elements..

But the isolator they use isn’t designed to fully charge an AGM. Same goes for the Off Grid system that uses a Blue Sea ML-ACR. AGMs need a higher charge voltage followed by a lower float voltage in order to 1. Fully charge (high voltage) and 2. Avoid burning the plates after the battery is charged (float voltage).

Get a very basic tray that puts the batteries side by side with an additional support bracket to handle the weight like the one from Slee:
    https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok2021-35/

And then get a Redarc BCDC to handle your battery charging. It’s basically the only system I’ve seen that is designed for an AGM. It’ll also handle a solar input:
    https://redarcelectronics.com/products/dual-input-25a-in-vehicle-dc-battery-charger

It’ll require you to do more work on your own, but at least you’ll maximize the life and performance of your expensive battery.

Then put your switchpros on a mount near firewall on the driver’s side as others have said, and put the compressor on the passenger’s side.

I have that Genesis dual battery setup, a PowerTrays SwitchPros setup and a Slee mount for the ARB dual compressor. If you go with the Genesis setup, be sure to change the oil fill spout so you don’t have it snap on you: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/engine-oil-fill-spout-on-truck.505419/page-4#post-24315905

This is the behind the grille mount that is also being mentioned:

Powertrays for the Switchpro and a Slee mount for the ARB should solve this issue.

Haha no I’m a neuroscientist. I have nothing in common between trucks and my day job. I just read more than is probably necessary. I run a wire harness manufacturing company on the side just for shits.

I pieced together my dual battery system using off grid engineering battery mounts and a red arc bcdc 1225d charger. I have the 2nd battery mounted in front of the passenger firewall.

I have the powertrays mount for my switchpros and aux fuse block.

Im using the ARB high output single compressor mounted to a slee offroad mount next to the windshield reservoir. Slee markets this mount as fitting 2ng gen tacomas but it fits perfect in 3rd gens also.

Ill try and get some pics up soon of my set up.

I went with the SDoffroadMT in my 2021 Tacoma. It is made by a guy named Derek. He ships everything you need, including all the SS mounting hardware, power and ground wires cut to length, etc. GREAT guy to deal with and super responsive! You can find him on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/sdoffroadmt/?hl=en. I don't have an IG account so had to have my son reach out to him - haha. Below is an example of his work....
