What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Not sure what the trim level she got, but I know they checked every single box and got the diesel for her wrangler.

 

Just got Bp-51s installed and added 33s' (285/75/16) on stock rims. Got my alignment today and the shop guy said the cam tabs are a little out of shape. Says there shouldn't be any space between the tab and mount. What do you guys think?

Shop recommended Total Chaos Cam tab to get welded.

 

Got some new lights from Heretic. 40 up top and an amber 30 in the grill. Install was all pretty straight forward. Lower light bar went in very easy with the viper cut as well. Wired them both up to factory style switches. Very happy with the outcome

 

They’re OEM led fogs.

 

Eibach trd pro springs, 1” blocks, and SOS sliders in the last 24 hours. My wallet hurts.

 

same here...was gonna get Coopper AT3 4S's, but these are definitely edging close to my top pick...the snow thing would definitely push them over

 

Love the color! Is it as "bright" as photos make it out to be?

 

I got it cloudly, it was sharp but not exciting in low light, after the sun set, and my wifes lunar rock 4runner blended into space, it started glowing. Like borderline glowing... its another toyota multi lighting color. It has a TON of black in it behind the lime...

Knocked off the knobbies and applied vhb… then mounted. Ill apply the vinyl next week and mock up something for the front cam

I agree with the shop, once they are not against the tabs, its easier to knock the alignment off. It might not be too bad if you stay on pavement, but if you do off road it's almost guaranteed you'll knock it out of alignment. Mine look terrible. I have cams that have bent/gone over the tabs. I cant wait to get my hands on the TC mounts. Also thinking about the Taco Tabs to set it and forget it. It's on the list.

 

Any rattling from the hitch step?

 

For a DV8 center bumper that aluminum bar gets removed and frankly the new bumper offers more protection than that bar. The dv8 video left a little to be desired. When removing the front bumper on a 2022 dont pry it off. Reach up inside the wheel well and push the tabs. You wont break any like I did.

 

Don't know why... but that picture with no bumper made me think of this guy.
