Looking for plug diameter and pitch

    Ft Diff drain 24MM-1.25 Magnetic
    Ft Diff Fill, Rr Diff Drain & Fill 18MM-1.5 don't recall on magnetic
    Trans Case no answer
    Transmission, which one? don't have answer for you for either.
    Engine oil is indeed 12MM-1.25

    What are you doing?

    What I was doing was getting as many of the plugs to work with a 24MM hex wrench as possible, this took welding on 24MM nuts to the Front Diff Fill and Drain plugs. That gives me all 24MM down below for fluids except my drain and check on the Auto Trans.

    Thanks for the help. I’m actually trying to do what you are doing but in reverse. I’m trying to go with the 10mm hex plugs for both differentials and transfer case plug. Also the differential fill. It seems the rounded and lower profile 10mm hex plug would be less prone to damage like the OEM 24mm socket differential fill plug is. Also looking to bond a high temperature neodymium magnet in the drains. Able to get a stronger magnet. My thought is the current weak magnets that come with the truck isn’t strong enough to keep the particulate to the magnet during fluid flow while driving. Probably only collects on the magnet when stationary.

    I agree with the bad heads on the stock plugs. I got a low profile 3/8" drive 24MM socket and ground down the face to where the six profiles engage to the depth of the nut. Nice and solid, less work. I also agree with you on the lack of magnetic attraction, particularly the front diff drain - the ring gear swings right past the magnet and I don't think much will adhere to it with the oil current. 10MM Hex maybe too small for the torque of the front diff drain. Look up the torque to see what you think.

    The Lexus front diff drain plug has a nice 14MM hex, I welded the 24MM over the top of it.
