I'm got a 2016 Tacoma. Bought the truck with...from information I've gathered has a King suspension lift 2.5 I'm guessing and total chaos standard series +2 long travel kit. Would the the CV axles have to be replaced? Reason I'm asking is because I'm replacing the CV axle and bought a stock one and it's too short. And have no idea what to get now to replace it.
    Thanks for any help.

    Yes, you need extended axles

Take apart both axles. Transfer the longer shaft from the old axle to the new one. If you don't know how, watch a few Youtube videos on rebuilding CV axles and buy a tube of CV grease. If you don't want to dick around with the pinch-style CV boot clamps, regular hose clamps will work as just well.

Since I've got the old axel out I can have it rebuild and just put that back it right? Only reason I'm replacing the axel is because I had a boot cut for awhile.

    Yep that's another option.
